MCBedrock Community Rules

General board-wide

1.01 MCBedrock is aimed toward a general audience. Discriminatory language, drug talk, nudity, pornography, and so forth is not allowed.

1.02 All publicly displayed messages are limited to English. This includes posts, titles, signatures, profiles, the shout box, and other forms of public display unless otherwise stated by a staff member.

1.03 All avatars, signatures, banners, and backgrounds are submitted to staff for approval before use. Attempting to display rule-breaking content will result in a warning and/or removal of avatar, signature, banner, background, or posting privileges.

1.04 Posts must be compliant with the rules of the section in which they are posted. Section rules will be posted at the top as announcements.

1.05 Flaming is not allowed. Do not verbally abuse other members.

1.06 Impersonating staff members is not allowed and offenders will be permanently banned from the site.

1.07 Any type of sales/trades/giveaways are prohibited.

1.08 Posting of private messages is not allowed because it violates the rights of the user in question. Private messages are to remain just that: private. This rule applies board-wide unless stated otherwise by an administrator.

1.09 Providing a download for any file or service which is designed to harm or disrupt a computer, network, or any other electronic entity will result in an instant ban from the site. Discussion of this material is forbidden. Examples of these malicious files include, but are not limited to: Viruses, Network stressing tools (host booters, botnets, etc), worms, and IP grabbers.

1.10 Members must have only one account.

1.11 Do not post personal information, pictures, or any other material of another user without the person's consent.

1.12 Please report abuse of the rules to staff members by using the report button on posts and profiles or sending them a private message. You can contact staff via PM, the Contact Us form, and the Ask the Staff section.

1.13 Public discussions of staff actions are not allowed on the forum/site. It is prohibited to protest staff actions in titles, avatars, signatures, the Shoutbox, etc. If necessary, PM a staff member and we will try our best to resolve the problem privately. If you have a question about a staff action, please post in the Ask the Staff section or PM a staff member.

1.14 Abuse of statistics such as thanks, post votes, reputation, and arcade scores is not allowed.

1.15 Abuse of contact us or appeals email addresses will result in permanent account suspension.

1.16 'Name squatting' the act of registering a username with no intention of use is prohibited. Attempts to sell, buy, or solicit other forms of payment in exchange for usernames are also violations and will result in permanent account suspension.

Spam & Advertising

2.01 We do not tolerate spam. Do not post small or useless posts that are not relevant to the topic being discussed. Unless relevant to the topic, posts containing only an image, video, or link will not be tolerated. Excessive low quality posts will result in the deletion of the posts.

2.02 Advertising is strictly prohibited. This includes posting in private messages, instant chat, shoutbox, comments, and forums. This also includes bypassing the URL filter with symbols, spaces or forum bbcode.

2.03 Referral sites, apps, and codes are to not be discussed.

Content & Legal Issues

3.01 Do not post content that infringes copyrights such as cracked software or music downloads.

3.02 NDAs (Non-Disclosure Agreements) are signed, in most cases, after applying for testing of products/hardware/software. Posting content violating these NDAs is not allowed.

3.03 Social Engineering - Do not post how to defraud companies or other entities on the site. This includes telling lies to customer support, for example, in order to get free items under the guise of deceit.

3.04 Fraud - Do not post anything related to the act of or offering to commit fraud in any way, shape, or form.

3.05 License transferring, game sharing, and account recovery services are not allowed. These services put users' accounts at risk of being stolen. Exceptions are made for account recovery services with verified stickies and Trusted Sellers.

3.06 Do not post any kind of social media botting service or related program. These promote false statistics on the service being abused.

3.07 The discussion of tampering/hacking/manipulation of Google services and related items is not allowed.

If you violate any of these rules, the following actions may be taken against you:

Edit or removal of posts
Edit or reset of reputation
Removal of access to site features
Locking or deletion of topics
Temporary or Permanent ban at staff discretion
Suspension of account
Restriction of an IP/IP range
Other punishments felt necessary by staff members
