Player Temperature (Beta)

Do you want to add more realism? This addon adds a temperature scale! The temperature depends on the biome, time of day, weather, humidity, whether you are in the sun, distance to heating blocks (obstacles are also taken into account!)

This addon adds a new temperature scale. The temperature depends on which biome you are in, whether the sun is shining on you, whether you are wet, the time of day and the distance to heating blocks (lava, fire, furnace, blast_furnace, smoker, lava_caludron).

When you are in a specific biome, your temperature will slowly rise or fall to that of that biome. If you go into the shade (the sun will cease to shine on you), after a while you will cool down a little. If it rains / snows and you go out into the rain, you will slowly start to get wet and your temperature will begin to drop. If you hide from the rain, you will slowly begin to dry out, and until you dry you will be as cold as in the rain. If you choose to take a dip in the water, you will get wet very quickly and you will be cold as in the rain until you dry out. If you swim in the river (this is a separate biome) you will be noticeably colder than just swimming in the water, let's say at home. If the sun has already disappeared behind the horizon, you will gradually become colder. And only when the sun rises will you feel warmer. If you jump into lava or fire, your temperature will rise incredibly quickly and you will dry out incredibly quickly as well. And if you stand on snow or ice, you will be cold.

Also, if you start to approach lava, fire or furnace, you will get warmer depending on how close you get. If you get too close you will get hot very quickly (you will also dry quickly). And most importantly: obstacles are taken into account!

How obstacle accounting works: rays of heat are sent from the heating block in different directions, they can also turn towards players (no rays visible, this is a demonstration)

The player has opened the door to the house and heat reaches him:

What the temperature scale looks like:

The temperature scale changes color depending on how comfortable you are. If you are cold or hot for a long time, you will feel bad. First there will be slowness, then weakness and slowness, then these effects will intensify, and when you are already near death you will have blindness and after 30 seconds you will die.
If you are a little cold or hot, the symptoms will not worsen and will remain at the level of slowness and weakness. To get rid of the symptoms, you need to bring your temperature to a normal level and wait. The longer you have had symptoms, the longer you will have to wait for them to go away at normal temperatures (max 5 min).

Notes:

This addon only works on version 1.14 and above (up to 1.17). If your version of minecraft is lower (1.13 \ 1.10 \ 1.8) this addon will not work!

If "Mob Spawning" is disabled in your world, this addon will not work!

This addon does not require any experimental world options to be enabled!

This addon works great in multiplayer!

This addon is compatible with absolutely all addons!

Known bugs:

Campfires are not a heating block. It cannot be done yet due to minecraft restrictions

This addon is still in development, the armor does not keep the players warm, you can only get warm by going to the heating blocks, and there is still a lot to be done.
