On Minecraft Java Edition whenever you load into your world the world spawn chunks are constantly loaded. This addon adds that into Minecraft bedrock so if you have farms they will work as long as the farms are built inside the world spawn area even if you are not in those chunks.

All this addon does is allow farms to work whenever you're away from home just make sure that your farms are inside the world spawn chunk and everything will work even if you are away from home.
