Ice Hockey Minigame V2 is the successor to Ice Hockey Minigame released back in 2017. Stadium got roof and it was almost completely redesigned. The map also has a lever for opening and closing the roof. With Karlos Games CZ we also created new fully automated and functional in-map scoreboard system. We've also completely redesigned the system, which returns the puck back to the center of the arena. It's now done using command blocks. 

In the V2.3 update, the Ice Hockey Addon now includes custom 3D blocks for trophies (trophies, hockey trophies, puck trophies and IIHF trophy). All the trophies are available in 5 different variants (emerald, diamond, gold, silver/iron, bronze). The puck got a complete overhaul as well (new model, texture and collision box). From the first version there are still hockey sticks, jerseys, meal, etc. The entire add-on has been translated into all languages supported by Minecraft (29 languages). And I could go on (new posters, intro, rooms etc.). 

A special type of trophy was added to the Ice Hockey Addon - the IIHF Trophy on the occasion of the final match of this year's Ice Hockey World Championship.

The Ice Hockey Minigame V2.4 update adds 2 new trophies to complete the IIHF trophy series. These trophies were then placed throughout the map to further decorate it. The puck now has slightly different behavior, it will slide much better than before. The map also received various new features and bug fixes: added new effects (fireworks, goal horn, new titles) for goal signalization, a new button for clearing all pucks from the field, fixed redstone gate, corrected typo in the introduction, etc.

In the picture below you can see an aerial view of the huge ice hockey stadium with a folded roof. You will spawn in the building, which is visible in the lower left corner. The hallway in front of you is the introductory part that you should take on the minecart. If you're playing with friends, only one of you should take the cart, because otherwise there would be too many command block activations and the text displayed on the screen would not be arranged correctly. Once you walk through the introductory corridor, you will have the opportunity to get all the necessary equipment before you get to the ring. But before you start playing intensively, we recommend that you take a tour of the stadium to feel the details and the hard work we put into it. Thank you for playing!

This project is actually getting overwhelmingly complex, there are command blocks all the way under the stadium. It is the most complex map we have ever made. 

Ice Hockey Minigame V2.5 update was created on the occasion of this year's IIHF. You can find there a new IIHF 2022 trophy, new posters, it's now also fully compatible with the current Minecraft version (1.18) and more.

Ice Hockey Minigame V2.6 introduces Mech Cars and Mech Vans, along with several updates to trophies, puck models and textures, posters, and the map. The map now features a parking lot for cars and a small park with a fountain in the center.

Before you immerse yourself into playing ice hockey in Minecraft, you have the opportunity to discover the origins of the IIHF.

The Ice Hockey World Championships are annual international men’s ice hockey tournaments. The term IIHF stands for International Ice Hockey Federation. The IIHF was formed in 1908. The first IIHF officially took place for the first time at the 1920 Summer Olympics. From 1920 to 1968, the Olympic hockey tournament was also considered the World Championship for that year. The first World Championship that was held as an individual event was in 1930 in which twelve nations participated. This year's IIHF World Championship is hosted by Latvia in Riga.
