Snorkels! (Night Owl Update!)
Snorkels are a great way to lurk the deep sea and other bodies of water without worrying about building a conduit or filling your inventory with tons of water breathing potions.
Welcome to Snorkels! This is my first full-made addon. Please send feedback!
This mod adds snorkels, glass masks used for pseudo-water-breathing via with a filter.
They come in all colors! Be sure to find the one with the color you like the most!
You can basically stay in water as long as you want when wearing a snorkel on your head. Useful if you don't have a helmet with a maximum level Respiration enchantment yet.
How can I craft my own snorkel?
This is the recipe for a basic snorkel.
(Glass pane, not glass block)
You can replace the red dye for any other dye color. Remember the iron's for the filter, which means you first have to know how to smelt sand for the visor and smelt iron in game, making this a early mid-game tool.
However, their overpower is designed to NOT be used on combat! Their glass shatters too easily, taking nearly 15 hits to break. You can repair their visor with a glass pane on an anvil.
This is how they look in-game. Quite big, heh.
There's one thing added in the newest update...!
First, make some Amethyst Lens.
They aren't opaque like the tinted glass because of them having less amethyst and less glass on their composition.
They're maybe too small to be used as a new spyglass lens.
What do I do with these lens?
Simple!
Compact them into Tinted Glass!
Which is profitable, I guess!
Another thing you should do is...
Infuse them deeper!
Combine them with glowy objects, an emerald and some green glass for a green color and a golden carrot to make True Vision Lens.
You can technically still see through them, but their glow hurts your eyes.

Night Vision Goggles!
The tinted glass is obligatory to darken the light of the lens so it doesn't hurt your eyes when looking through them!
These are ideal for exploring dark places when you ran out of torches.
For better traversal of the seabed, you can now upgrade these goggles...
By sticking a whole conduit to them!
No, you can't wear them because it's pointless to carry such heavy thing.
Now, for the moment of truth...
Wake the conduit up with an echo shard, and infuse it with prismarine to make a Super Diving Gear!
It is very useful to see under the sea as if it were the clear sky!
The lengthy process balances it's usefulness! You still shouldn't reserve it for defense or combat though.
