Do you like technology? Do you like battle suits? Do you like CATS??? Well I have the addon for you! This add-on adds an armor set that gives you multiple abilities and buffs towards the end of the game. But beware, an evil has awoken and is storming the desert. They’re not really a big threat but watch out.

Developer Update.

Hello.

As you can see from the art, this addon uses the player.json file. A file that makes using this with certain Addons not possible. I was told between release and now that using that file is not exactly the best thing to do. Well, I have an update to that.

This project is literally not possible without it. The ideas that I have poured into this project could not be possible without this feature. I’ve thought of workarounds and it’s not possible or even close to what I want this project to be. Why am I saying this?

I do not plan on removing it in the future. And as a result of that, it's been clear to me that people do not really like Addons that use this file, especially something as small as this. Which means I have nothing else to give this addon. This is the final update of this addon.

Now, not ALL suggestions have been removed. The armor was stupidly overpowered where you could get it and it has been reworked and rebalanced. But you’ll see that down there.

Thank you for your suggestions and your criticisms. May this mark the end of “The Auric Powersuit”.

Both update v1.0 and v2.0 are forever available.

(And no, this project is not stopping because of criticism alone. This is literally my second least favorite addon. It needed my new style before I dumped it 💀💀)

Now, onto the main show.

Getting Started

To get started, you’re going to need to find an enemy called a “Auric Elemental” These mobs can be found in the desert during nighttime. When killed they drop an item called the “Auric Fragment”.

Crafting

When you have collected nine auric fragments, you can now craft an auric star, you will need four of these to move on to the next step.

When you have four auric stars, you can make this recipe and make the “Auric Manifestation”, which will allow you to use the item and gain the Auric Cybercat Armor.

When you have the armor and fully equip it, you will be given seven items. The next section will show you what they are and what they do.

Abilities

Ability Charge I: Kinetic Overdrive

Category: Attack | Cooldown: 1s |

When you use this item, the armor will let off an explosion. The armor already reduces entity explosion by 80% by just wearing it. However, the armor will still be damaged in the process.
