The new update of the metal addon was made to improve the gameplay, make it more realistic and add new mechanics for farming rare material watch the video to check out all the features of the addon:

 the silver spawn in the same level than the metal ore but drop the raw silver that you can put in a furnace and get the silver ingot to craft the gold18k ingot and make the new silver golem

the new silver golem:

it can dupe the mineral that you can give to him in the metal table it can be crafted in the metal table like this with the new silver block:

here are all of his variants 

coal:

generates coal every every 30-45 seconds

iron:

generates iron ingots every 30-45 seconds

gold:

generates gold every 45-60 seconds you can use it to make auto bartering farms with piglins

redstone:

generates redstone dust every 25-45 seconds

diamond:

generate diamond every 60-90 seconds

netherite:

generate netherite ingot every 90-120 seconds

in the new update you can make the silver block in the metal table;

new tin ore:

tin can be found between y-60 to y60 with the deepslate and regular versions

both of the tin ores will drop 2-3 raw tins that you can smelt in one furnace/bkast furnace to get one tin bar:

metal can spawn underground at y 0 - y 60

put the metal in one furnace to get metal scrap for make the metal table

with the metal table you can have access for new custom items ( the metal table texture is now 2d so you can use the recipe book to craft it)

you can craft the new forge table in the metal table just follow this recipe (for some reason the recipe will just appear in the construction tab)
