So on ECKO's Survival Island Ender-Dragon fight stream, he wanted to know if a Trident with Loyalty will come back from the void, so I did that.
Here's the answer: NO, I threw it with Loyalty 3 and it did not come back. It kind of makes sense though because it's the void.
Yeah, but it's loyalty. Even if it is in the void, it should come back to you. I think the developers should change that. Just my opinion.
It does make sense, because Loyalty tridents come back after landing on a block, and there cannot be blocks in the void. Also, thrown tridents, like arrows, are entities and all entities take damage below Y -64.
But, if it was possible to place blocks in the void, like at Y -65, a trident with Loyalty thrown onto those blocks would very probably come back, but damaged.
