Akuma no Isan (roughly meaning Demon’s Legacy) contains Skill Trees, Quests, Races, Families, Breathing Styles, Blood Demon Arts, multiple Nichirin blade colors, fusion Breath Styles and more!

When you first load into your world, you will be greeted with a prompt to look down. This will randomly assign you to a Family, a system that gives you inherent traits outside of your Race and Blood Demon Art/Breathing Style.

These Families will give you different buffs, for example Rengoku family allows you to Unlock a special move on Flame breathing, And Kocho family will Make you deal poison on hit, but your punch will be slightly weaker and so on.

To become a Demon Slayer, use a breath book (for example a Book of Thunder). These can be found in loot, or obtained through Quests through hashira that is roaming around your world.

Right click / hold your screen to talk to them, they then will give you a quest. after completing them you will get a breathing book and some skill points.

what is the purpose of skill points you may ask?You will notice you have spawned with some book items in your inventory. These are your Skill Trees.

with the skill tree item, you can upgrade your breathing forms to do more damage or unlock a new form.

you can also upgrade your speed, max health, resistance and more!

and finally you get to choose between fighting styles you want to use.

The final thing you should know is you must level up to use more Forms/Demon Techniques. To do this, you will need Skill Points, obtained by either a Demon Slayer killing a Demon mob, or a Demon killing a Demon Slayer mob. The strength of the mob determines how many Skill Points you earn.
