Tameable Ravager Addon

Ravager is a big hostile mob introduced in Minecraft 1.14, It spawns as a captain's hostile pet which can badly damage a player, BUT What if you can tame it?

Using this addon pack you canΒ πŸ™‚Β once the ravager is tamed it can store your items, you can ride it, it will fight for you, can harvest your farm, can be leashed (tied) to a fence, will run faster than a horse, is no more hostile to villagers or to iron golems, will attack pillagers.

Β

I make many mods/videos like this on myΒ YouTube channel -Β Anni boy,Β If you want me to make more stuff like this them please subscribe it πŸ™‚Β

Β

Video of complete explanation:

This video explains most of the things, if you didn't understand any, here is the written explanation:

Β

Taming:

You can tame the ravager using any meat food you like, raw mutton, salmon, cod, raw beef, cooked chicken...etc.

Once you have tamed it, you can ride it, store items inside it, make it attack other mobs, farm, etc.

Rideable:

Useful to store items:

Where to find one ravager?

When in the game, ravagers don't spawn naturally in the overworld, to find one you can typeΒ /function easyΒ in chat box. What you can do is that go find an iron golem, either in a village, or make one by yourself using 4 iron blocks and a pumpkin mask; once you right click Β the iron golem with a flint (Only flint, not flint and steel) It would make a transformation to a ravager, you can either tame that ravager or kill it to obtain saddles.

You can even typeΒ /function infoΒ in chat box for complete information about the mod inside the game.

Modes for Ravager:

Well the ravager has two modesΒ currently, those are farming mode and normal mode.Β

In theΒ farming modeΒ the speed of the ravager decreases BUT it can harvest crops/plants and collect them when you ride it, it would even break leaves in farming mode which can make it a little easy for you to travel through trees...This mode can be enabled through a iron/diamond/netherite hoe's right click on the ravager.

InΒ normal modeΒ the ravager does not harvest crops/plants, nor auto pickup any item fallen on the ground, it just does normal features( all features accept farming mode features ) This mode will be there by default when you tame the ravager, butΒ in case if you want to switch back from farming mode to normal mode then right click with a flint on the ravager.

What happens when you attack a player or a mob?

If the ravager is unleashed (Not tied to a fence) and is near you, then it would leap over to that mob/player and bite it until they die.

If the ravaegr is leashed (Tied to a fence) it would try to help you but unfortunately can't because you have told him not to and stay near that area.

Β

Will attack the Mobs/Players you told to attack at:

Will harvest and pickup crops/plants in farming mode:

What if the ravager is Untamed/Wild?

Untamed ravagers would act like a normal ravager does, attacking all players, not killing any monsters, supporting pillagers, is non rideable for a player, Will spaw during raids on villages, attack iron golems, attack villagers etc.

What changes in it when it is tamed/pet?

The ravager when tamed becomes neutral. It won't attack it's owner, will help owner in attack, pillagers would no longer would be able to ride it (Only for tamed ones), Will attack mobs that are dangerous, will attack untamed ravagers, will become like a BFF to Iron Golems, will no longer attack villagers and villagers also would not run away from it, becomes strong by 20% of a normal ravager, becomes faster by 10% of a normal ravager, etc.

Β

Changelog

There were not a lot of changes in the pack, but still here is what I changed:

1.The tamed ravager will now attack other ravagers who are untamed.

2. Added rotten flesh to the healing list (Now you can use it to heal it).

3. Decreased dealth damage (It could kill a mob in just two bites now).

4. Added Diamond and netherite hoes to the farming mode list.

5. Now you can turn the ravager back from farming mode to normal mode using a flint.
