Tired of the boring trades from the wandering traders? Then let me introduce to you trader camps! If you see a camp nearby, that means there's a special wandering trader there with better trades!
Trader camps
A trader camp is nearby when you see this message pop up, you should look around for a tent and campfire, and of course the special wandering trader.
The special wandering trader is a green variant while carrying gems around him, he also has a mule instead of llamas.
He has much better trades, offering 12 different items but only trading 4 items at a time. They cost emeralds and have random prices, but these are items you wouldn't get anywhere else easily, like enchanted apples.
Below are the 12 items he can offer, including loot boxes:
- Loot box
- Elytra
- Enchanted apple
- Nether wart
- Ancient debris
- Trident
- Beacon
- Nether star
- Compass
- Totem
- Diamond
- Saddle
Loot box
Loot boxes are crates that drop items, they're basically lucky blocks with random loot. Depending on your luck, they may drop rare items and gear.
Below are some of the items a loot box may drop, among many:
- Fresh produce
- Baked goods
- Armor sets
- Honey making kits
- Buried treasures
- Gem blocks
- Fishing kits
- Tool sets
- Ores
- Weapons
And so much more!
The special wandering trader will stick around for a day, before leaving at dawn.
There is also a version that has no tent spawning, just the trader and his mule.
