Fixed Spawn Eggs Resource Pack
This is a very simple resource pack that updates the textures of all spawn eggs to match those of the Wandering Trader and Cat mobs. It's a very minor change but one that Mojang forgot to make for some reason.
This resource pack is also compatible with other add-ons and (probably) all future updates!
How is this possible?
When adding an entity to Minecraft, there is a component that can be added in the resource pack that creates a spawn egg texture by taking two given color codes and applying them to a template (egg_mask) item. All of the newly added mobs (since the Nether Update) use this feature, meaning as long as Mojang doesn't change their ways then this resource pack will still be compatible.
Note: All of the spawn eggs added before the Nether Update were textured by hand, but due to the method of adding spawn eggs explained above, I am not able to manually texture any of the newer spawn eggs. (Please don't blame me for any weird shading on those items)
Installation
If you are on iOS:
Open the file with the Notes app, then from there you will be able to open in Minecraft.
