Travel Bases Addon

++ BIG UPDATE: new and better code, more bases ++

The addon implements some structures like tents, little camps, little houses (and more) into your Minecraft worlds.
The idea is that you have different layouts/plans for different bases and when you need a real base, you only have to build the plan and it automatically builds the base.

At all users of the previous versions: Please note that the structures will be created at other positions than before.

This addon is compatible with all other addons.

How does it work:

  1. build one of the following plans (at the following pictures at the left side)
Note: You need exactly the same materials like at the screenshots/ in the description
  2. stand on the block where my figure stands.
  3. wait a moment (ca. 1 second), because the addon proofes, if there is a plan and if the plan was built correct

If everything is ok, the base (at the following pictures at the right side) will be created at your position and the plan will be destroyed.

Costs:

The costs (xp and materials) depend on how big the base is, how good it is equipped with important things (beds, crafting tables, furnaces, storages, ...) and how good it can protect you against monsters.
The plans should represent a layout of the base, which you need to build, to "build" the real base. So primarily you need blocks for the plan, the base is made of. But sometimes I added Coal/ Iron/ Emerald Blocks in the plans to make them more expensive.

Different Base-Versions:

Two bases can be created in different colours.

The addon tests which biome you are in. With this, different biome-versions for some bases are possible. This means especially the underground changes and sometimes some materials to. In biomes, where are no specific versions, a standard version will be used (with grass as underground). But if only one biome-version exists, this one will be used in every biome.
Generally there are these versions:

  1. grass (plains, forest, savanna, meadow and all other not defined biomes)
  2. sand (desert, beach)
  3. mesa (terracotta plateaus, red desert)
If you want red sand as underground, one red sand block must be under the plan at the position you have to stand.
  4. snow (snowy tundra, grove, snowy slopes, jagged/ frozen peaks)
  5. stone (hills, stone beach, stony peaks)
  6. taiga
  7. mushroom (mushroom islands)
  8. nether wastes
  9. crimson forest
  10. warped forest
  11. basalt deltas
  12. soul sand valley
  13. end
