Minecraft Bedrock: 1.12 is Rolling Out Now

During the long, endless days of bug fixing and bug reporting, the day is here. Minecraft Bedrock 1.12 is rolling out now for most devices and it is quite an important update.

This update is not a big survival update like the previous ones have been. This one is a bug fix update with a lot of quality of life bug fixes to help you in your day to day Minecraft lives. However that is not only what this update has in store. This update has a lot of features for map makers including the ability to add items and blocks to the game *screams with excitement".

NOTE: There is a known bug regarding HD Texture Packs on mobile devices. Using them can cause your device to crash. Please try to avoid using these texture packs until the issue is resolved.

Nintendo Switch will receive this update in about 8 hours.

Don't worry Java players, the team is always working on bug fix updates for you but you will not get a big feature update until 1.15 sadly. Hold on though!
