Minecraft Map Review: Abstraction Mega

In the beginning there were blocks created by 1 man... and a team of several other people. But recently another man decided to take these blocks and make them bigger.

This map named "Abstraction: Mega" is a map created by Jigarbov Productions and his map is big. Its huge. Its... Mega Huge! This map takes multiple different blocks from Minecraft and make them HUGE!

This map has been on the marketplace for several months now and it costs 310 Minecoins!

As with every Abstraction map, the goal is to complete a monument of 16 colours blocks. These are typically the normal colour pallete of Minecraft.

Gameplay

The gameplay of this map is very entertaining. The entire feel of the map can keep you occupied for hours. The blocks are spaced out and each one has different objectives inside of it. You spawn on a bed (as you do) and you are given the monument as well a starter kit. You can see multiple blocks around from spawn and as you explore you discover more and more things.

Appearance

The whole map is quite eye appealing. You can easily spot what most blocks are aswell as the unreal detail in each of them. However, if you are using a resource pack with this map, some of the blocks may not contrast easily together and you may find it difficult to figure out what block is what.

Here is a Diamond Ore in the Plastic Resource Pack.

Overall

This map is a great map if you are looking for a survival map to play whether as a series or as a map to play solo or with friends for multiple hours. While having a few minor flaws like the texture packs, I would recommend this map to anyone who wants a fun survival map. This map gets a 8/10 from me!
